Twenty-two Japanese equity specialists in the research department conduct company visits for our assessment of Japanese equities. Our analysts have held more than 4,000 face to face meetings each year aimed at advancing the accuracy of our research efforts and ensuring the most appropriate ratings for Japanese equities.

Our analysts in Asia conduct visits to local companies for a better fundamental analysis of companies. Research analysts have held over 3,300 face to face company visits in 2010, more than doubling the size over the past five years. Our locally based research analysts and portfolio managers are close to the market and understand local conditions and culture, which enables them to identify investment opportunities at an early stage.
